While each of us has an individual purpose, the overarching purpose of life can be seen as evolution.
This includes biological, social and civilizational evolution.
No one today knows why this is the case or what the purpose of evolution may be.
Life is growing complexity that may be infinite, producing greater and greater complexity which we understand less and less. As our reality becomes more complex, humanity itself may transform into something entirely different, possibly a future aspect of AI. As lowers stages of evolution do not understand us, we too may not understand, nor be able to participate with the future of evolution.
