Are women evil ?

What a strange question, why would anyone think that women cannot be trusted?

“Women are prevented from playing a full and equal role in many faiths, creating an environment in which violations against women are justified,” former President Jimmy Carter

Historically women have been discriminated against, and given a lesser status to men. In the mind of our society, and within religious thought, women are not trusted, and seen as a fundamental cause of all problems.

The New Testament quotes St. Paul (I Timothy 2) as saying that women “must be silent.” Deuteronomy declares that if a woman does not bleed on her wedding night, “the men of her town shall stone her to death.” An Orthodox Jewish prayer thanks God, “who hast not made me a woman.” The Koran stipulates that a woman shall inherit less than a man, and that a woman’s testimony counts for half a man’s. New York Times

One of the precepts of this website is that Christianity is an evolution from Gnostic belief into a Universal (Catholic) belief that is used as a tool to rule over the lesser peoples. That our society behaves according to what it is led to believe. The truth will set you free, but the truth is occult, and hard to find. Another precept of this site is that the maladies of humanity come from the oppression of others. That one oppression in particular, the oppression of women has transformed into wars, and many of the evils we see today. This is not to say that women are evil, but that the oppression of anyone will be converted into evil.

It is reasonable, that if we were to find a better solution for the traditional male-female relation we would improve the society.

The Gnostic concept of creation is that the universe was created by Sophia's desire and promiscuity, an error in the heavens. A universe that is formed by a woman,s error, that is then governed by an ignorant Demiurge, a satanic figure. This mistake in heaven is corrected at great expense by the collective creation of Christ by the unknowable true God. To correct the universe, Christ comes to earth as a man, but fails and will return to try again.

The blame for both creation and this mess, is placed squarely on a woman.

Genesis follows this similar theme, having woman be responsible for the fall of man.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Genesis 3:6

The gospel of Tomas says that Christ can fix the problem with women... is there any wonder this gospel was not included.

114 Simon Peter said to them, "Make Mary leave us, for females don't deserve life." 2 Jesus said, "Look, I will guide her to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. 3 For every female who makes herself male will enter the domain of Heaven."

The theme again is seen in the  Epic of Gilgamesh. Consider how women have been treated until recently.

So what is the fundamental issue here?

Desire is fundamental, but men desire women more than women desire men. We don't know why one desires the other more but it is fundamental to what sex is. Sex is the injection of one living organism's DNA into the other, a violent act that requires an aggressor, and a victim. Therefore from this we have the construct of male, and female relation. The resulting society we have today is built around this dynamic.

We see this in the market place, men are generally the ones that are after sex, they pay for it, and women are the ones that sell it, the demand is mostly one sided.

This is only a general statement, women do pay for sex as well, and the numbers may change as our society changes, but for now, and in the past it has been a mostly one sided affair.

I do think that we can all agree that it is desire that is at the center of social evolution and sex is at the forefront object of desire.

Always, when there is an unequal demand situation, there is opportunity for advantage, or economic profit.

The princes bride, Cinderella, is the archetypical aspect that we teach young women, that they are valued for beauty. The hard fact is that throughout history women in royal families are simple exchange tokens of power, with little free will. This gives the term "Gold Digger" a strange and Royal significance. It says, that in the circles of debutantes, what we have is an accepted system of slavery that is shown to us in fairy tales as a good thing.

How common is it in modern society that women mary up into wealth?  Can you see a tinge of prostitution in this.

Are women evil because of this, no, opportunistic of course, who is not?
