These are the times of Christ
Herod the Great (37 BC to 4 AD) is installed as king by Mark Anthony. His son Herod Antipas will rule from 4AD to 39AD, and would be the ruler during the time of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.
Octavian would start a family line after his new name Augustus Caesar. A family that would later be the personification of the divine right of Kings, Kaisers and Czars of our western culture. This would mark the end of the republic, and the beginning of the world domination of Rome.
The Egyptian priests and Pharisees of the Israelites have new masters, and they are Roman. The priest will once again serve who is in power and continue to perpetuate the same religion to the Egyptian slaves as well as to Israelites. The Pharaoh is dead and will not come back he has become Caesar , Pontifex Maximus.
Extraordinary times for the birth of a carpenter that will put into place a belief that will persist for more than 2000 years. A work of words that will oppose Rome at all times, from its conception, through the Reformation, and to today.
There are three possibilities for the story of Jesus...
1. It is exactly true as written in the Bible. Three wise men (Magi , Persian Zoroastrian Priests) are told of and visit the birth of Christ. Christ was the virgin birth son of God, and God. He was the son of a carpenter and was self taught. He became the teacher for a non-violent political movement, that ends with its leaders crucifixion, and the destruction of the Jewish Temple. Its an account that must be taken on faith.
2. It never happened and was invented by Paul and other co-conspirators. Invented to effect change in these troubled times. Paul was a roman citizen, a Jew, and from Tarsus. He would have had cause to do this. As a roman citizen the new political changes would mean he and all citizens of what was once the Aramaic world of Egypt, Persia, and Greece would be now under the Latin control of Rome. The Jews of his time were in a long war against the Romans and his land of Tarsus, where Anthony and Cleopatra came together had also been taken by the Romans.
A unique aspect of the words of Jesus, is that they are very similar to those of the religion of Paul's birth place, Tarsus. The Zoroastrian religion of the Persian, the one God Ahuramazda and Mithra his son, and also to become the dominant religion of the Roman soldier.
3. It is the return Caesarean the son of Caesar and Cleopatra. The one most likely candidate for the son of God. He would be in fact the son of two Gods... Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. The son of God, and God. Cleopatra was the personification of Isis and her son was that of Horus.
Of the three possibilities the third is the most beautiful and tragic of all. A young Pharaoh of 17 that has lost his parents to conflict and greed. He escapes and learns to forgive those that killed them his family. Teaches others to love the enemy. A man that has renounced his wealth and comes to love the oppressed. Comes to govern the soul of man... to set us free... to tell all the truth. He professes that if all people know the truth, the world will change and will bring a new era. When they are crucifying him he would be in a state of disbelief... that nothing happened, and that the world did not change.
If in fact Caesarean had escaped, he would have been 17 when he left Egypt. As a young boy he would have lived in Rome, with is God father Julius Caesar, where he would have had the best Roman scholars teaching him. As high priest and Pharoah of Egypt he would have been educated in the Egyptian mysteries, and well as Greek philosophy. He would have also been Macedonian Greek King, and heir to Alexander the Great. His library would have been Alexandria.
Power is all about the alliances of families and children, the royal family of Cleopatra would have been married with the Jewish Kings to maintain alliances. This child would also be the descendent of King David. That would make his mother Jewish and he would be Jewish as well.
When Herod Antipas becomes king in 4BC, Caesarian would have been 51 years old, just entering into his wisdom. If he was sent to India as ordered by his mother, he would have found himself at the far end of the old Persian empire. The Persians, that believed in one God. In India, in a nation that had accepted the pacifist philosophies of the Buddha some 400 years earlier. In India that had the belief of Krishna, with all the similarities to Christ.
Of these three possibilities, in them, could this be true? Christ is the Logos, and Paul is the action that converts the Logos into the will of God on earth.
From a religious/historical point of view it gives possibilities un-seen by many of us. The word religion appears to signify to "re- tie" or to "unite". From a political perspective the birth story has striking practical similarities to the pre-existing belief systems of the time. There are common motifs with those of Krishna, the Avatars of Vishnu in India, the Greek and Roman deity Mithra, the Egyptian God Horus, the list goes on. In order for Christianity to have the religious effect of binding people under a common belief, a common symbolic thread would be valuable.
The questions here are...
1. Why the lost years of Jesus Christ? Why would it match so well with a Caesarian period of exile. In particular for the time of Christ, people who knew would have taken notice of those lost years. Would this be the missing Ceasarian, escaped and not killed by Rome?
2. Why no real name when names are so important? You may get away with believing in Jesus Christ... but it would be a problem if you were to tell people Caesarian or Caesar was still alive and your God.
3. Why are the Pharisees such a danger to Jesus. His anger at the temple. His concerns with money and wealth, what does that say with respect to an economic message. The Pharisees are the cause of the problem, they would be the ones that withhold the truth and do the brainwashing whether they know it or not. The message of Jesus is in reality a plan to destroy them and the power they have.
4. Why no historical dates, when to the Romans and Egyptians dates, and their calendar was so important? I have no idea, but to guess... the Romans over the years made sure dates were removed from all manuscripts so that this correlation to Julius Caesar could not be made.
5. Why would he come to the poor and the disadvantaged? It is the carpenters and fishermen that feed and house us, this is where the real power of humanity is. The rich do not love people they love material things. The meek will one day inherit the earth, and the truth is what will set man free. There are real economic and social lessons here.
6. How is he able to rally so many followers and so quickly? There are people that do know, important people, maybe John the Baptist. People that would say in private this is the King, this is Caesarian. If this story I'm telling follows, then people at that time believed this man was the son of two Gods, especially for the Greek populations that Paul was speaking to. For the Greeks believed great hero's came from the Gods. Like, Hercules or Agamemnon, born from Gods…this story is the greatest Greek heroic myth of all.
7. "but, who do you think I am". Why is this question repeated so many times by Jesus Christ? Sounds to me as a form of not answering the question and making you answer it. It would be crucial for nobody to know who he was, they would be sure never to give him his true name and who he truly was. Most would never know who he really was, if Rome knew they would re-kill him.
8. How does he know more than the Pharisees? If he was Caesarian, he would have been very well taught in all the mysteries and religion especially his own.
9. Why such an aversion to wealth? His parents would have been killed over money and power. He would know that wealth was not the way to salvation rather it was what opposed salvation. This is the key to saving the world, for him to come to teach those that had killed his family. To forgive them and build a spiritual movement to restore the republic. The Church, Ekklesia in actuality is the word for the principal assembly of the Greek democracy. An Ekklesia is where the elect come to govern, the kingdom of God, his kingdom.
These questions fit too well with this strange interpretation of history. This is not to say this is the true version of history. It does beg the question "why has history not been told this way when this appears to be the most fitting conclusion".
John starts his testament like this...
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
The Word is what is God, as well as Jesus Christ all one in the same. This is a unique change on the Genesis story. It says that Jesus Christ and the words he says were from the beginning and are the same with God. But this is not realy the word "word" but it is "Logos". Originally a word meaning "a ground", "a plea", "an opinion", "an expectation", "word," "speech," "account," or "reason." Aristotle applied the term to refer to "reasoned discourse" or "the argument" in the field of rhetoric. The Stoic philosophers identified the term with the divine animating principle pervading the Universe.
Does this somehow fit perfectly with the word Ekklēsia, the principal assembly of ancient Athens during its Golden Age.
Remember that all religions at that time were secret. We would not know the beliefs of the Egyptians or the Pythagorean, or any of the many secret cults, unless we are initiated. We would know only the story line we were told. The words of Jesus are revealing secrets... not to just the privileged or chosen... but to all men and women, even the poor and disadvantaged. To reveal these truths to all mankind would be revolutionary.
Look at the thinking of that time from the perspective of this story. Rome had taken control of the Jewish royal family. The rulers, the Pharisees, even if they knew, they would not wish to tell their people that they were the hired gun of the the Greek Macedonian Rulers, and before that the Persians and earlier Egyptians. Even if some had known of this they would still have had little choice but to do the Romans bidding. The fact remains that God gives land to no one and every one, that politically and economically Egypt will dominate over Canaan unless supported by a larger outside economy.
As for the Romans, like Pontius Pilate, they would believe what Augusts has told them, that he had killed Caesar's son Caesarean. Pontius Pilate would never imagine that this man, that associated himself with the poor and sick, would be the son of Caesar and Cleopatra. Even if it was told to him, he would not believe it, he would expect greatness.
John continues and says.. "then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Free from what, what truth? Free from Rome, that would certainly be a problem for Pilate. Could Jesus Christ be in fact setting in place a peaceful revolution, to liberate not only the Jews, the warrior class of the Egyptians, but also the entire world from Rome. Or, was it more like we find in the dead sea scrolls, a violent revolution, and the is later watered down by Titus and the following rulers of Rome.
For in fact the words of Jesus Christ describe a way of life by which Rome can not take from you. If you have nothing and give to others, and if you love your enemy... how can Rome tax or make war?
To become free, the Jews must be told the truth of who they are. That they are trapped in an illusion of freedom. Their kings and their priests have been working for the other side ever since they left Egypt with Moses. The Pharisees would be the exact impediment to accomplish such a thing. The Pharisees and Rome would loose grip, if the Jews knew this truth.
To Jesus Christ, it is clear that wealth, and our attachment to material things of our world is a serious problem...
Matthew 19:24
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:25
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
Luke 18:25
Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
The last thing an empire wants are people that love their enemies, and that don't have anything to tax! Worse would be that they help and love their neighbor, they would live well and have nothing to tax! Even worse, that they go to the Ekklesia and govern themselves!!
The Revolt
What we do know is that something made the Jews fight ferociously once again, the great Jewish revolt in 70 AD where Herod's Temple is destroyed on July 30. Six hundred thousand people men and women of all ages would pick up arms and stand against Rome. The insurrection finished with the Bar Kokhba's revolt in 135 AD, and the dispersal of Jews throughout the empire.
The enslavement and massacre of a large part of the Jewish population. The loss of the Jewish state. This would be culmination of time, and the inception of the Word or Logos of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion
Regardless of how you wish to view these events, the work of Jesus Christ is not finished. The words of Jesus Christ are a blue print for change, that is opposed by lies and what is evil.
Revelation 22
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
This is the end of the Bible, a warning not to change the word. Like a warning that there is a death penalty for those that commit murder. But, people still commit murder. Whether or not we know it, it is still Rome that is in power, and you live in an illusion. In all these years since Jesus Christ would you not think that Rome would attempt to control what is your belief, just as the Egyptians did to their slaves. Your reality is a delicate substance. The truth has always been kept away from as many as possible. Inquisitions, outlawed books, belief controlled... only today is there information close at hand for all.
It was Rome and its emperor Constantine that gave us the Bible 324 years after Christ. Constantine created a new priest class, he created a universal Church and a new illusion.
Today, for once in all history, we can actually act on the words, "the truth will set you free". Unlike before we can rapidly access information. There is such an excess of material things in the developed world that its only a matter of time before we turn our attention to more selfless goals.
Testimony is how truth is found in a courtroom. We are responsible to be honest and careful in how we define the truth. We are the jurors of our reality. With a true understanding of who we are and the love of God, our lives will be enriched with love and peace.
John 14:12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
Is it now up to us to build the Kingdom of God.
