Leibentz and the Kabbalah

Cecil Rhodes

Saint Bernard Abbot of Clairvaux

Marie-Théodor Ratisbonne, N.D.S., (December 28, 1802 – January 10, 1884) was a French Jewish convert to the Catholic Church, who became a priest and missionary and who later founded the Congregation of Our Lady of Sion. He was the brother of Marie-Alphonse Ratisbonne, who joined him in this effort. He was baptized in 1826, at which time he added the name Marie (Mary) to his given name, and was ordained as a priest in 1830.

Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan (1881 - 1983)

n 1935, Kaplan wrote Judaism as a Civilization, a book which became the foundation of the new Reconstructionist Movement, and which is still published in paperback. Kaplan taught that we need a reconstruction of the religious foundations of Judaism in light of our understanding that Judaism is a religious civilization. He promoted democracy in the synagogue community and advocated voluntary membership, elected leadership, and respect for the religious opinions of individuals.

THE SYLLABUS Pope Pius IX

All the truths of religion proceed from the innate strength of human reason; hence reason is the ultimate standard by which man can and ought to arrive at the knowledge of all truths of every kind

Pastor Chiniquy an examination of his "fifty years in the Church of Rome"

Jefferson Davis

I have received, with others of a similar character, the inclosed [sic] sheet, having a paragraph underlined to secure my attention, and I send it to you to attract your notice. Under the head of “Summary” is a concentrated distillation of malice and mendacity. The main attack seems to be against the fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons, and, as many slanderers have heretofore done, the writer avails himself of a sectional prejudice existing against me to point his attack against Freemasonry, and in less than the three underscored lines perpetrates at least as many falsehoods.
